The Miami Hispanic Cultural Art Center (the White House of the Ballet) is scheduled to
open its doors before the
end of the year 2011. It is the only Cultural Art Center in Miami that offers a variety of artistic disciplines, Intensive
Workshops, regular classes in Ballet, Theater, Art exhibits, Films and Performances, with an exceptional national and
international staff of teachers, artists and directors dedicated to quality and affordable performances and instruction.
This beautiful new center resides in the Landmark building the J.W. Warner House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property is centrally located between the Miami River, Downtown and Brickell, easily accessible to the Miami community and our tourist visitors. The original colonial style building will be complemented by new Miami contemporary architecture housing the brand new state of the art ballet studios. The goal for this spectacular renovation and construction is to be finished and open to the public in 2011 creating a vibrant presence in the community and enhancing the cultural image of this area. The planned activities at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Art Center will enrich the arts in Miami and preserve our Hispanic cultural legacy.
A word from the Founder & Director It is my privilege to present to you the new Miami Hispanic Cultural Art Center (MHCAC), the premier Hispanic Arts facility in Miami that will bring together the various branches of Hispanic artistic excellence under one roof; The Miami Hispanic Ballet (MHB), the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM) and the Creation Art Center (CAC). With more than 20 years of experience in Miami Dade County the MHB, CCBM & CAC have become prestigious and distinguished cultural institutions. The extensive and truly important work of restoring and opening the MHCAC can only be continued with the support of art lovers, philanthropists, corporations and private enterprises. The preservation of our Hispanic cultural legacy – and its impact on our community – depends on our combined efforts. This is a unique opportunity to become involved with the ambitious plans of the MHCAC and reach the growing influential Hispanic population. We count on dedicated individuals and organizations to lend the support necessary for the renovation, activities development and maintenance of a successful Miami Hispanic Cultural Art Center, further enriching the cultural life in Miami. Join us as partners in this monumental undertaking. Please click on the “Contributions & Sponsorships” link to find out how you can help us make this gift of artistic excellence a reality for our community. We look forward to speaking with you about the many ways to give. The MHB (umbrella organization for the MHCAC) is a 501 c-3 non-profit and all contributions are tax deductable. Sincerely, Pedro Pablo Peña |
