“The White House of the Ballet”

Miami Hispanic Cultural Art Center is the umbrella facility for three of the most recognized arts organizations in Miami; The Miami Hispanic Ballet (MHB), the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM) and Creation Art Center (CAC). With more than 20 years of experience in Miami Dade County the MHB & CAC, under the stellar direction of Pedro Pablo Peña, have become prestigious and distinguished cultural institutions.

MHB provides cultural & arts programs of proven excellence, notably the International Ballet Festival of Miami, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and theatrical performances of the world’s greatest Hispanic & American playwrights. They have established a loyal ever-growing audience. Over the last 4 years the CCBM has made its mark by thrilling audiences as the premier Miami Ballet company dedicated solely to the Classical Repertoire. The MHCAC facility, distinguished by its classical colonial architecture is listed as a Historic Landmark which the MHCAC will preserve. This colonial style building will be combined with the contemporary architecture of brand new state of the art ballet studios.

The Mission of the Miami Hispanic Cultural Art Center (MHCAC) is to bring the passion, excitement and joy of excellence through the universal languages of Dance, Vocals and Fine Art and to present great theater and literature in Spanish. Further, MHCAC will strive to create a vibrant presence in the community dedicated to quality, affordable performances and instruction celebrating Miami’s diversity. MHCAC will conduct classes with master artists to enhance the development of future talent in South Florida and promote the cultural image of downtown Miami and Little Havana. The center will offer cultural access for visitors and local residents and enable them to enjoy the best in the Arts.

MHCAC is committed to making its dance and multi-discipline activities and events accessible to all persons including those with disability, senior citizens, and children.
